Fall Family Weekend

All families of current students are warmly invited to campus October 16 and 17 for Fall Family Weekend.

The deadline to register is Monday, October 5.

This is a time to build connections with other families, get to know MHS faculty and staff, and learn more about our programs. Meet your student’s advisor and teachers, engage in conversations with the Deans, enjoy great food from the Culinary Team, pick up MHS swag at the School Store, and more!

Thursday, October 15

• 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET- Head of School & Deans’ Welcome Session (virtual)

Join the Deans for an informal conversation about highlights from the first month of the year and to learn about ways to engage with MHS during and after Family Weekend.

Friday, October 16

• 3:00 p.m.- Check-in opens (Main Building, Living Room)

• 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.- School Store open (Main Building, Garden Level)

• 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.- Head of School Welcome & Deans Presentation (Linn Hall)

• 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.- Dinner (Main Building, Dining Room*)

• 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.- Fall Music Fest (Main Building, Centennial Hall)

*Students may eat off campus with their families; advance permission required via REACH.

Saturday, October 17

• 7:30 a.m.- Check in opens (Main Building, Living Room)

• 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.- Breakfast (Main Building, Dining Room)

• 8:15 - 8:45 a.m.- Community Meeting (Main Building, Centennial Hall)

• 8:50 - 9:10 a.m.-Class Meetings

• 9th Grade - Horizons Studio

• 11th Grade - Woods Theatre

• 12th Grade - Back of Library

• 9:15 - 11:50 a.m.- Meet the Horizons Team (Linn Hall, Horizons Studio)

• 9:15 - 9:35 a.m.- A Block Class

• 9:40 - 10:00 a.m.- B Block Class

• 10:05 - 10:25 a.m.- C Block Class

• 10:30 - 10:50 a.m.- D Block Class

• 10:55 - 11:15 a.m.- E Block Class

• 11:20 - 11:40 a.m.- F Block Class

• 11:45 - 12:05 p.m.- G Block Class

• 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.- Lunch in the Quad/Dining Room

• 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.- Advisor meetings - sign up in advance

• 3:00 p.m.- Game: Varsity Soccer (Soccer Field)

• 3:20 p.m.- Game: JV Volleyball vs. Millbrook JV (The Cross)

• 3:20 p.m.- Game: Varsity Volleyball vs. Millbrook (The Cross)

**Students may be dismissed from school after the end of their last formal commitment.
